I’ve been using Pith Sketchbooks coming up 2 years and wanted to share my process, how I think about them as a tool and a safe space for anyone, like me, who beats them selves up if a painting doesn’t go to plan.
Transcript / Summary:
I’d love to have some beautifully curated sketchbooks, but I’m not that kind of artist,
I use them as a low-pressure place I can scribble out drawings if I’m not happy,
Also trying things out before I commit them to paint, like figures or portraits
One of my favourite things to do is occupy a coffee shop window and draw these panoramas, it beats doom scrolling and it forces me to appreciate where I’ve come to rest.
